Larry K. Allen 71, of Kenton

Larry K. Allen, 71, of Kenton passed away at Hardin Hills on Thursday, June 4, 2020. He was born on September 9, 1948 to the late Earl R. Sr. and Myrtle (Triplett) Allen. He married Linda K. Jordan on October 28, 1967 and she survives.

He is survived by three children: Lori (Reggie Evans) Johnson, Michelle

(Darren) Taylor, and Carl (Maria) Allen; grandchildren: Andrew (Britteny

Durham)  Johnson, Caleb Allen, Jaslyn Frierson, Tessa Marie Allen, Ashly Pitterson and Marissa Allen; great-grandson, Azekiel Jermiah Johnson; and

brothers: Jerry R. (Dana) Allen and Barry (Ruth) Allen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Earl “Pete” Allen, Jr.

Larry was a 1966 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School and worked for Rockwell International for 30 years. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Larry and Linda helped to run the Kenton Little League for many years where he was also able to fulfill his love for coaching.  He enjoyed sports, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, June 11, 2020 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service (12-2pm). Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery where the AMVETS Post 1994 will present full military rites.
