Leaf Collection Program Explained in Village of Forest

The Village of Forest released some information about its leaf collection program.

It typically runs from October through early December, and each year notices of the specific start and end dates for the program are provided in advance. 

The program consists of five rounds through the village by collection crews. 

Residents are advised to refrain from placing leaves at the curb until approximately one week before the start of the program and to stop raking leaves to the curb at least one week before the program ends.

Each collection season differs due to weather conditions and the speed by which the leaves fall.
