Library Hosts Kenton Girl Scout Troop 21173

The Mary Lou Johnson Library hosted the Kenton Girl Scout Troop 21173 this past Sunday.

That was to celebrate their accomplishments as Girl Scout Juniors.

The Girl Scouts were honored for completing their bridging requirements  

Three Girl Scouts were presented with their Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest award that a Junior can earn, for their books that they published and donated to the library in September. 

Five Girl Scouts were presented with the Summit Award, the second highest award that a Junior can earn.
