Lima Man Injured in Hancock County Motorcycle Accident

A Lima motorcycle operator was injured in a crash that occurred Thursday afternoon on U.S. 30 at Township Road 68 in Hancock County.

WFIN Radio reported that Eric Martin, age 38, was riding the motorcycle east on 30, and he crashed into the rear of a car that was slowing down to turn onto 68.

The car was being driven by Laura Blodgett, age 38 of Lima.

Martin was flown from the scene to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo with incapacitating injuries.

Blodgett was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
