Lima Police Department Hoping Humor will Attract Applicants for Officer Position

The Lima Police Department is taking a humorous approach to advertise a position for a police officer with the department.

This “ad” was on the department’s Facebook page:

That of course is the cruiser the new officer would be operating, and applications can be found on the City of Lima website.

They must be turned into the Civil Service Board by March 3.

The Civil Service Exam is scheduled for March 14.
