Logan County Resident Sentenced in Case Involving Hardin County Victim

A Logan County resident was sentenced this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court in connection to an incident that injured a McGuffey man last summer.

 

WPKO Radio reported that 19 year old Nathan Daniels, of West Liberty, was placed on five years community control with conditions on one count of felonious assault.

 

As part of the sentence, he must serve 12 months local incarceration.

 

In August of 2019, following a fight in August 0f 2019 near Belle Center.

 

During the disturbance between the 21 year old victim, Daniels and two other men, Daniels used a tire iron to strike the victim in the head and back.

 

The victim was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries.

 

The case was heard by Judge David Faulkner, who was sitting by assignment.
