Logan County Sheriff’s Office Holds Corrections Academy

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office hosted a three week corrections academy. 

Some of the topics that were covered are Ethics and Professionalism, Stress on the corrections Officer, Body searches and  Fire safety.

An overview of the criminal justice system was also presented.

State testing results are to be announced.

70% is required to pass the test. 

Officers attending the academy average 90% or above. 

This year Van Wert, Auglaize, Mercer, and Logan Counties attended the training.
