Major Drug Bust in Allen County Nets 55 Grams of Suspected Cocaine, 3.84 Pounds of Marijuana, 27 Firearms and $124,760 in Cash

On June 25, 2024,  the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, in conjunction with the FBI’s Northwest Ohio Safe Streets Task Force and assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 3000 block of Allentown Road in Lima. 

The resident, Brandon Maitlen, was present and taken into custody on a probation violation. A second related search warrant was executed at a residence on the 100 block of Bellwood Drive in Lima.

Through the two search warrants 55 grams of suspected cocaine, 3.84 pounds of marijuana, unidentified pills, 27 firearms, and approximately $124,760 in US currency were seized.

Maitlen is currently being held in Auglaize County Jail on a probation violation. Charges related to this investigation will be presented to the Allen County Grand Jury at a later date.
