Man Arrested After Early Thursday Morning Disturbance

A Kenton man was arrested after a disturbance that started early Thursday morning.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were called to 1037 South Main Street in reference to an argument in front of D Building.

Officers cleared the scene after all parties separated, but they were called back around an hour later.

A man suspected of being involved both times had left the scene prior to officers arriving the second time.

48 year old Wilbur Lawrence was located at his room at B & J Motel and was issued a summons for public intoxication.

They were called back to the motel around a half hour later and Lawrence was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct.
