Man Arrested Following Arson Investigation in Lima

A man was arrested after a fire in Lima this past Tuesday night.

According to a release from the Lima Police Department, officers were dispatched to 122 North Elizabeth Street in reference to a fire.

Upon arrival, officers and firefighters observed the building to be engulfed in flames. 

The building is said to be a total loss and the City of Lima is making arrangements to have the building torn down for the safety of the public.

40 year old Jeff England, of Lima, is being held on Suspicion of Aggravated Arson in reference to the investigation.
