An Upper Sandusky man was arrested after a domestic violence disturbance just before Christmas.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence in Upper Sandusky to assist the Police Department with the situation.

They discovered that the suspect, identified as Rocky Danner, may have been under the influence, and he fled the scene in his girlfriend’s vehicle.

A deputy located the vehicle being driven by Danner and initiated a traffic stop, but Danner refused to stop.

A pursuit reached speeds of over 50 miles an hour in town and ended when Danner drove into the driveway of his girlfriend’s house where he attempted to kick in the back door to gain entry.

After resisting arrest, Danner was eventually handcuffed and taken to the Wyandot County Jail.

He’s been cited for operating a vehicle intoxicated, driving under suspension, reckless operation, stop sign violation, driving in marked lanes and failure to use a turn signal.

Additional charges are pending.
