A Kenton man was injured after his electric mobility scooter was struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk near downtown Kenton at just before 11:30 Monday morning.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 64 year old Bart L. Steele was crossing Market Street when a vehicle being driven by 67 year old Dennis W. Ward, of Baltimore, Ohio turned south from Franklin Street and struck the scooter.
Steele was ejected from the scooter and was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by BKP EMS with suspected serious injuries.
Ward was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
