Many Unaware that Car Seats Have an Expiration Date

The life of a car seat ranges from six to 10 years.

According to information on the Kenton-Hardin Health Department Facebook page, you should be sure to identify the expiration date set by the manufacturer of the seat being used.

All car seats have an identification sticker that states the manufacture date, and sometimes the expiration.

The Health Department reminds you to check your car seat today to make sure it’s still safe to use.
