March 19 Primary Ballot Set

There are four Republican candidates vying for the January 3 Hardin County Commissioner seat in the March 19 Presidential Primary Election.

They are Michael Kassler, Kathy Kelly, Paul Osborn and Joe Sherman.

The winner will run unopposed in the November election.

Incumbent Republican Fred Rush is running unopposed for the January 2 seat in the primary and general election

For State Representative of the 83rd District, Ty Mathews is facing incumbent Jon Cross in the Republican primary.

The winner will face Democrat Sheila Coressel this fall.

Two Democrats are vying to represent their party in the U.S. House of Representatives Fourth District race.

The winner between Steve Thomas and Tamie Wilson will face incumbent Republican Jim Jordan in November. 

The deadline to register for the primary election is February 20.

Early in-person absentee voting begins the next day.
