Marion County Sheriff’s Office Hiring for Part-Time Kennel Technician for The Marion County Dog Pound

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is hiring a Part-Time Kennel Technician/Support Worker for The Marion County Dog Pound located at 2252 Richland Road in Marion, Ohio.

Working hours will be on Mondays and Saturdays with additional hours as needed. The schedule is subject to change due to availability.

Responsibilities include: providing information to the public on the adoption of animals, general office support for the pound, cleaning kennels, feeding and walking animals, assisting animal control officers with intake of animals, and other upkeep tasks as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and a clear criminal history.

Applications are available online to download or can be picked up/submitted Monday-Friday at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 100 Executive Drive in Marion.

They would also like to remind applicants NOT to submit completed applications to the Dog Pound.
