Marion man identified as suspect for thefts at Kenton Walmart

Kenton Walmart reported a theft to the Kenton Police Department Thursday afternoon.

According to the report, Walmart Asset Protection Employees reported a male had committed three theft offenses, one on July 26, July 30, and August 28. Ten items were stolen valued at more than $500. The male had not been identified until he was arrested on numerous felony charges.

A Walmart employee saw the suspect’s arrest photos and recognized him. 36-year-old Cory Anthony Gaukin of Marion is currently incarcerated in the Multi County Jail in Marion for multiple felony offenses.

Gaukin was charged with three counts of theft and is scheduled to appear in Hardin County Municipal Court.
