Marion Police Chief Announces His Retirement

The Chief of the Marion Police Department, Bill Collins announced that he is retiring.

Chief Collins is credited for accomplishing many great things during his tenure at the helm.

He took the reins of a top notch department and managed to only make it better. 

From implementation of the MPACT program to policy improvements, technology advancements and increasing trust while developing additional transparency in daily operations, Chief Collins has left a lasting mark. 

His last day on the job is expected to be sometime next month.
