Marion) Marion Technical College invites anyone interested in taking an online college class to test drive a free sample course. New students can test an exercise science and mental health class at the pace they prefer. A second sample class will offer  live lectures and specific class times, so students can compare the experiences.

“When students are trying to balance health concerns over COVID-19 and their desires to learn new skills to get ahead, remote classes offer an option to keep moving forward,” said Dr. Ryan McCall, president of MTC. “The online learning experience offers convenience and quality.”

With just two weeks of activities and assignments, this is a chance to interact with an instructor and peers online. This can help prospective students feel comfortable before signing up for a full semester class. MTC is currently enrolling students for the fall semester which begins on August 24. An all-in-one enrollment event for students interested in fall classes is planned to be held on campus July 14.

Marion Tech offers affordable, quality classes that are close to home. Students who are uncertain about plans for fall can keep moving forward. Marion Tech costs less than half of identical course materials at a state university main campus.

To sign up for a free online course or check out any of the other class options, go to http://mtc.edu, call (740) 389-4636 or email enroll@mtc.edu.
