Mark Badertscher Set to Retire from Hardin County OSU Extension Office

Hardin County OSU Extension’s Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator Mark Badertscher recently announced that he is retiring at the end of this month.

Mark Badertscher spent over 11 years in his role as Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator and has over 25 years teaching agricultural education and serving as a FFA Advisor. He has invested 37 years in public education and thanked his colleagues and the community for supporting him and his events and projects over the years. Badertscher’s final day with OSU Extension will be on June 30th.

An Open House celebration is being held at the Extension Office on June 27th between noon and 4:30pm.

Those wanting to wish Badertscher well and share your favorite stories about him are welcome.
