Marysville Division of Police Welcomes New Chief

The Marysville Division of Police announced their new leader this past MOnday.

Chief Tony Brooks was officially sworn in at Marysville Council Chambers.

Chief Brooks had his badge and insignia placed on him by his wife Tonya and two of his children. 

Chief Brooks has been a Deputy Chief for the Marysville Division of Police since 2013, and has over 22 years of law enforcement experience. 

He starts his career by thanking the men and women who go out everyday and do the jobs that make the Division the outstanding organization that it is and that he is looking forward to continuing to serve with them as their Chief.

He takes over for Chief Floyd Golden who retired last week after 50 years in law enforcement.
