A motorcycle operator and a six year old passenger escaped serious injuries in an accident Monday night in Union County.
According to the report from the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Patrol, a motorcycle being operated by 30 year old Justin Newton, of Marysville, was westbound on County Road 179 when it struck a deer.
Newton and the passenger were ejected towards the shoulder of the road.
They were both transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
