The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin Counties is the “HUB” of the local Recovery-Oriented System of Care. Boards engage local partners to educate, advocate, coordinate, and facilitate the programs, services, and supports needed for individuals, families, and communities. In order to meet their statutory duties, Boards are responsible for the following:

· Complete Continuum of Care
· Client Protection
· Client Coordination
· Housing Development/Management
· Community Education and Awareness
· Critical Incident Management

In Hardin County, the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board partners with Coleman Health Services, Lighthouse Behavioral Solutions, Family Resource Center and Wings Support and Recovery to ensure crisis and treatment services for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders are available to residents in need of services. We provide funding to PASS to provide prevention services in the school, as well as to other community partners for Daytime Crisis response, Behavioral Support Specialist, navigation services and more. Support and navigation services have been made available to those re-entering the community from jail or prison, and for those served by the specialty court dockets. Recovery and Supportive housing opportunities are available. Select local employers are utilizing board funded Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for their staff and families. Representatives of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board attend Family and Children First Council as well as other community meetings. Individuals can take a screening on our website if they have concerns about their own mental health or substance use or on behalf of a loved one and get information on local providers to connect with for assistance.
