Mobile Home Destroyed by Fire in Wyandot County

A mobile home was destroyed by fire back over this past weekend in Wyandot County.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, the Sycamore Fire Department was dispatched to 1950 County Highway 44, and the structure was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters conducted a search after they discovered that owner, Billy J. Simmons, may be inside, but no human remains were found.

Simmons was contacted later by phone and stated he was okay.

The fire remains under investigation.
