Motorcycle Accident in Findlay Injures Bluffton Man

A Bluffton man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Findlay Wednesday evening.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 39 year old Daniel C. Sheldon was reportedly riding the motorcycle north on Western Avenue recklessly and at a high rate of speed.

As he changed lanes, Sheldon was not able to stop due to excessive speed, and the motorcycle struck the rear of a car being driven by 47 year old Nicole L. Davis, of Bluffton.

Sheldon was ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest on the roadside.

He was taken from the scene by helicopter to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo.

The accident remains under investigation.
