Motorcycle Pursuit in Findlay Friday

A pursuit of a motorcycle occurred late Friday evening in Findlay.

According a press release from the City of Findlay Police Department, Officers attempted to stop a motorcycle after it almost wrecked and did a burnout. The rider then took off at a High rate of speed in which a pursuit followed.

The pursuit started on Howard street and proceeded through several other streets where speeds of the motorcycle were estimated to be in excess of 100 mph. The officer then terminated the pursuit after losing sight of the motorcycle on Anna.

After further investigation and discussion with several bar patrons, the rider was identified as William K. Jeakle. Officers went to William’s address on W. Main Cross in Findlay to only find the motorcycle, which was impounded.

Charges are pending.
