Motorists Urged to Use Extra Caution as Schools Begin New Year

With schools opening, motorists are advised to drive with care.

Be aware of school buses returning to the roads. Remember not to pass a bus that is stopped with flashing lights and the stop sign extended as they are picking up and unloading kids. 

Keep in mind also that speed limits are reduced in school zones.

Motorists should also be aware that there will be an increase in pedestrians, as kids walk to and from school.
