Precautions Taken to Ensure Patron Safety

The Palace Cultural Arts Association (PCAA) is happy to announce that screening of movies will resume Monday, June 22 at the Marion Palace Theatre located at 276 W. Center Street in Marion, Ohio.

Four family friendly retro classic movies will be shown throughout the week including “A Dog’s Purpose,” “Home,” “Monsters vs. Aliens,” and “Trolls.” The historic downtown theatre is taking precautions to ensure the safety of patrons.

“The staff and board have been very thoughtful about our reopening process we are implementing,” said Bev Ford, executive director of Marion Palace Theatre. “We know people are eager to return to theatres for movies on the big screen provided they feel confident that we’ve created a safe and comfortable environment. With that goal, protocols have been implemented, and we are now ready and excited to welcome back guests.”

Enhanced protocols in accordance with current local health and safety guidelines can be found in detail below and on the Palace Theatre website http://www.marionpalace.org

“While our theatre has been on intermission these past few months, we’ve remained hard at work to creatively maintain the connection with our patrons,” added Ford.
“Offering curbside concessions and introducing virtual performances with local talent through our social media platforms helped do just that. But, now it’s time to reconnect with the community. The process may look a little different to start, but it doesn’t take away from the excitement of bringing back the theatre-going experience. We can’t wait!”
