A Mt. Blanchard man was arrested following an incident that occurred this past weekend
The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office reported they were in a vehicle pursuit coming into Hancock County this past weekend .
Wyandot County informed the Hancock County Sheriff’s office that the vehicle had driven down a long lane into a woods on CR 273 where they had lost sight of the vehicle.
It was reported that the suspect was believed to be armed.
The suspect was located by a deputy, but he failed to comply with orders and attempted to flee on foot.
A deputy was able to apprehend the suspect and take him into custody.
He has been identified as 23 year old Luke Bowan.
He has been charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
No injuries were reported to anyone involved.
