Nelson D. Newman

Nelson D. Newman, 67 of Kenton passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Kenton on December 21, 1952 to Ralph and Cora Louise (Horner) Newman. Nelson is survived by his mother, Cora Louise Newman of Kenton, brother, Norman (Mary) Newman of Kenton, sons; Kenny Newman and Michael Shaw both of Kenton and four grandchildren; Raleigh, Josie, Colton and Elizabeth. Nelson served his country proudly in the US Navy. He was a member of the Coon Hunters Club and enjoyed camping and fishing.  A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Grove Cemetery committal building.  Military honors will be performed by the Hardin County Amvets Post 1994.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  Online condolences can be expressed to the family by visiting stoutcrates.com.
