New Bremen Defeats Ridgemont

Ridgemont welcomed New Bremen for a boys high school basketball tournament matchup Wednesday evening.

Basketball is often times a game of runs. This game was one of those occasions, Ridgemont went on a 10-0 run early in the 1st quarter but a well timed timeout saw New Bremen go on a run of their own to take a 20-14 lead into the 2nd quarter. The 2nd quarter was similar with Ridgemont going on yet another 10-0 run to end the first half down 30-32. New Bremen opened the 3rd quarter with a 6-0 run and didn’t look back the rest of the way. The Cardinals would head home with a 67-50 victory.
