OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital and the OSU Extension Agency has partnered to provide a new walking program for the community, Walk with a Doc.

Walk with a Doc which is an hour long program, begins with a brief presentation on a current health topic. After the presentation, participants spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy indoor walk with the provider allowing them to ask questions. The program is free and open to the public of all ages and abilities.

The program will kick off at the Kenton Elementary School on Monday, February 3 at 5:30 p.m. with Dr. Christina Crum talking about exercise and nutrition.

The event will continue on a monthly basis at the school.

No registration is necessary but regular attendance is encouraged.

Those participants who attend regularly will receive a t-shirt after 3 sessions and more incentives will be announced as the program continues.

For questions about the event please reach out to Jami or Tori at the OSU Extension Agency at (419) 674-2297 or Kim Reisinger from OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital at (419) 675-8366.
