Drivers Escape Injury in Wyandot County Crash This Week

The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office released details of a crash that occurred this past Monday afternoon at the intersection of State Route 67 and County Highway 44.

 

According to the report, 80 year old Susan Crow, of Upper Sandusky, drove from a stop sign on 44 onto 67 and struck an eastbound car being operated by 28 year old Charlene Wears, of Bucyrus.

 

After the collision, Wears car continued off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.

 

Heavy damage occurred to both vehicles.

 

There were no injuries, and Crow was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
