Fostoria Woman Injured in Sunday Morning Crash in Findlay
A Fostoria resident was injured in a crash that occurred in Findlay Sunday morning.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 18-year-old Ava Schlachter, of Fostoria, lost control of her vehicle while driving west in the 1400 block of Fostoria Avenue.
The car went off the road and struck a utility pole.
Evidence on scene indicated that she was not wearing a seat belt.
She was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital and later transferred to Promedica Hospital in Toledo for treatment of injuries.
Schlachter was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control and for not wearing her seat belt.
