The National Weather Service in Wilmington provides several ways for the public and trained spotters to submit severe weather reports.

Urgent reports should be called in using the unlisted weather spotter phone number provided in the local spotter guide.

Amateur radio operators can submit reports through the sectional networks that serve the Wilmington office, following established procedures.

Reports, along with photos and videos, can also be shared to the National Weather Service’s social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.

Additionally, storm photos or video, or links to media, may be emailed to spotreport.iln@noaa.gov.
