The Logan County Historical Society and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center students have teamed up to repair or refresh Historical Markers around Logan County.

The idea came from a conversation between Logan County History Center Curator/Director Todd McCormick and Ohio Hi-Point Career Awareness Coordinator Mark Butler.

The two felt this was a great opportunity for the students to showcase their talents and to give back to the community.

The students have already helped restore the Mackachack Town Historical Marker.

The next project will be setting a post for the Cherokee Historical Marker, and their goal is to refurbish two markers a year, whether that is painting them or setting new posts to display their rich history.
