Ottawa Truck Driver Cited After U.S. 33 Rear-End Crash in Marysville

An Ottawa, Ohio truck driver was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead after a crash on U.S. 33 in Marysville Tuesday afternoon.

According to that report from the Marysville Police Department, 37-year-old Nicholas Utendorf failed to slow down in time while driving east on 33 at State Route 4, and his semi struck the rear of a vehicle being operated by 72-year-old Terry Timmons, of Marysville.

Disabling damage occurred to Timmons’ vehicle, and the semi had minor damage.

There were no injuries reported.
