Allen Miller, 54 of Galion passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on July 6, 1966 in Kenton to the late Wayne L. and Sandra (Seiler) Miller, Sr.

Allen loved his family especially his grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan following the New York Yankees, Minnesota Vikings, Michigan Wolverine football and basketball and NASCAR. He appreciated music and Aerosmith was his favorite group. He was a fierce Scrabble competitor who enjoyed camping. Allen had many cooking talents including making bread and cheesecake, but he was a grill master when it came to BBQ.

On July 23, 2010 Allen married the former Lisa Clinger, and she survives, Other survivors include his children; Brittany Patchett of Carey, Chad (Jill) Clinger of Mansfield, Tiffany (Kendrick) Miller of Galion, and Cody (Adrienne) St. Myer of Lexington; grandchildren, Christopher, Harlow, Amyalin, Brinna, Dylan, Aleksa, Aaliyah, Quinn, Allie, Dalila, Savana and one on the way; siblings, Timothy (Tory) Newland of Kenton, Rick (Cathy) Newland of Kenton, Jackie (Dennis) Mungle of IN., Wayne (Sharon) Miller of Kenton, and John Miller of Kenton; brothers from other mothers, Duane Ritzler and Kenny Davis; special family members, Boy, Shelby Walton, Spencer Patchett, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his siblings, Bill Newland, Mary Sue Davis, Charles “Chuck” Esterline, Craig Esterline, and his Dad who raised him, Bill Newland.

Friends may call on Thursday March 4, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00PM at the Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North in Galion where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00AM. The burial will follow in the Iberia Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, in care of the funeral home.

In accordance with the Governor’s mandate, masks will now be required to enter the funeral home.
