Barbara (Jones) Bahan 74 

of Mt. Victory 

Funeral services for Barb will be held at 11 :00 AM. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Grange Hall, 31378 St. Rt. 37, Richwood, Ohio 43344. Burial will follow at Byhalia Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Grange Hall. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Barb passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at OSU Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on February 8, 1948 in Marion to the late Bert Jones and Carrie Hamilton-Jones. 

Barb graduated from Marysville High School in 1966. On August 19, 1978, she married the love of her life, Gary Bahan. Together they raised four children on the farm. Surviving are her children; Ashley (Curt) Martino of Mt. Victory, Travis (Brittanie) Bahan of Mt. Victory, Jennifer (Leah) Bahan-Harris of Dayton, Natalie (Bill) Branan of West Mansfield, grandchildren; Tinlee Martino, Haven Martino,Taylor Bahan, Bailey Bahan, Bradley Bahan, Lexi Bahan, Kaden Bahan Amaranth Bahan-Harris Cody (Kierstan) Grates, William (Cassandra) Branan Ill, great-grandchildren; August, Asher, William Branan IV and Ella, a sister; Shirley Bumgarner of Peoria, brothers, Terry (Linda) Jones of North Lewisburg and Ricky(Betty) Jones of Peoria and her Aunt Betty Richardson of Marion. 

She was preceded in death by a brother Gary Ross, her husband Gary Bahan and her parents. 

Barb retired from Honda Engineering of Marysville. She had a love for life and a great love for her grandchildren. If you knew Barb, you would say she was the most kind and gentle soul you would have ever met. She enjoyed auctions, collecting things, coins and painting. But her favorite thing to do was to have family gatherings and that is where she found her greatest joy.
