
Jacqueline S. (Bortel) Wolf age 63 of Carey, died on Sept. 20, 2025 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy battle with health issues. She was born Mar. 1, 1962 in Tecumseh, MI to Kenneth and Sandra (Hall) Bortel of Onsted, MI. She married Jeffrey Wolf on Dec. 5, 1981, he survives. She is also survived by her sons Adam (Kaci) Wolf, Carey, Alex (Melissa) Wolf, Upper Sandusky and Kody (Jaime) Wolf, Carey, grandchildren Bradyn, Kailyn, Olan, Raelyn, Onna, Oden, Kooper, Kashen, Kaden and a sister Melinda (Bradley) Williams, Tipton, MI.
Jackie graduated in 1980 from Britton-Macon High School in Britton, MI and obtained an LPN degree from Owens Community College in 2005. She was actively involved with Trinity Evangelical Church, and was a member of the Wyandot County Farm Bureau, in addition to being a 4-H advisor for more than 30 years with Barnyard Critters. She had an infectious personality that lit up the room. She loved people and was known for her compassion and supporting others. Jackie enjoyed springtime and planting flowers at her house and she found joy sitting on her patio watching the birds. In her earlier years, she spent a significant amount of time with her grandparents at their cabin in Johannesburg, MI. Her dream came true when she was able to purchase the cabin in 2018 and she looked forward to being there as much as possible with her family and friends.
She served her Lord and knew that His timing was perfect. She is now in the presence of Jesus enjoying eternity. Services will be held on Thurs. Sept. 25, 2025 at 5:00PM in the Trinity Evangelical Church with Pastor Jim Stauffer officiating. Visitation is from 2:30-5:00PM at the church before the service commences.
