A funeral service for Alice Louise Keyes will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Preston Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.

Alice passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born May 9, 1946 in Kenton, Ohio to the late John and Delores Wilson (Armentrout). 

Surviving are five children, Rachael (Craig) of Toledo, Ohio, Marc (Megan) of Wheaton, Illinois, John (Katherine) of South Elgin, Illinois, Margaret (Tim) of Baltimore, Maryland and Adam (Tracy) of Rockford, Illinois. Alice adored her 13 grandchildren, Johnathon, Ella, Gabriel, Benjamin, Eoghan, Liam, Claire, Alexis, Conlan, Connor, Lilly, Declan and Amelia.  Her kids and grandchildren were her life.  

 Her sister, Saundra Modd (Wilson) preceded her in death on November 17, 2020.

Alice attended Bowling Green State University.  After she graduated, she became a third-grade teacher.  She was also a real estate agent and a weight loss consultant.  However, her true passion were her five kids and she was a homemaker and volunteer.  Alice loved traveling, reading, playing Mahjong with her friends, watching movies and TV series, baking and cooking.  Alice was an avid Downton Abbey fan.  She always enjoyed extended visits with her sister, Saundra.  She was passionate about decorating and enjoyed hosting friends and family.  Christmas time was her favorite time of year, always immaculately decorating her home to prepare for her family to arrive to celebrate.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Alice’s honor may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
