Funeral services for Anna B. Heizer will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Faith Baptist Church in Kenton. Burial will follow at York Cemetery in York Center. Friends and family may visit on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4-7 P.M. at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.

Ann died on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Marion General Hospital. She was born on December 2,1938 in Columbus to the late George and Cora (Brown) Sharp. She married James Heizer in 1985 and he preceded her in death in 2019.

Surviving are 1 daughter; Becky (JR) Cronkleton of East Liberty, 1 son; Jack (Christina) Heys II of Navarre, Florida, 2 sisters; Karen Sue Meek of Columbus, Patricia Mae Acuff of Columbus, 5 grandchildren; Jack Hess III, Brandon (Alexandra) Hess, Matthew Cox, Nathan (Peggan) Cox, Kyle Nevers, 6 great-grandchildren who call her great-ma and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by 1 son; Daniel “Danny” Lee Hess, great grandson; Matty Cox, sister; Betty West and 2 brothers; George Franklin Sharp and Sonny Sharp.

Anna worked in accounting and was an administrator assistant for many years. Her most recent job was as Risk Manager for Time Staffing Services in Upper Sandusky. Even after retiring at the age of 80 she continued helping in various ways.   

She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Kenton. Anna enjoyed gardening, quilting, crochet, sewing and was a part of a quilting group. Anna was active in church activities, taught Sunday School and youth groups.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Youth programs.
