Obituary for Annie F.Wedel

Annie F.Wedel, 91 of Middleburg passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2021.  She was born in York Center on October 25, 1929 to the late Gerald and Nola (Beatty) Oller.  On June 6, 1958, she married Charles W. Wedel and he preceded her in death on January 29, 2015. Mrs. Wedel is survived by two sons; Lewis Meddles, Bill Wedel and a daughter, Becky (Tom) Ratliff. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Gibson, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Annie was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Oller and a daughter-in-law, Connie Meddles.  She began her working career as a nurse in Bellefontaine before her life-long career as a teacher.  Annie loved flowers and was a master gardener, belonging to various garden clubs in the area.  She was also a member of Silver Creek Church. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
