Obituary for Arden Shaw

Arden Shaw, of Forest, died at Wyandot Memorial Hospital on Saturday January 30, 2021 at 2:13am. He was born November 30, 1939 in Kenton, OH to Oscar and Edith (Grode) Shaw. He married Ruth Ann Elwood and she preceded him in death on May 19, 2019.

Surviving are his daughters Andrea (Frank) Lutz of Marseilles, Jan (Douglas) Gill of Waynesville, sons Craig (Darla) Shaw, Kurt Shaw, Dave (Carol) Lehman, Dennis Lehman, grandchildren Cory Shaw, Cyle Lutz, Joshua Lutz, Andrew Gill, Elaina Gill, Melissa Steingass, Annika Lehman, Molly Wyenandt, Ashley Lehman, Jeffery Shaw, Casey Lehman, Alicia Armstrong, Owen Shaw, four great grandchildren Zephan Lutz, Caroline Steingass, Owen Shaw, Maleah Armstrong, sister June (LaVerne) McClure, nieces and nephews Joyce Campbell, Steven McClure, Peggy Shirk, Jill Crabill and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Arden was a life long farmer and retired as a welder from UAP in Forest. He enjoyed playing blue grass on his guitar and banjo as well as playing cards. Arden took pride in taking care of the farm and his tractors.

A graveside service will be held at Jackson Center Cemetery, Wyandot County at 3:30pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021. The family suggests casual farm attire for this event as well as following Covid guidelines. The Bringman Clark Funeral Home will be open from 2pm-3pm for anyone wanting to pay their respects on Thursday.
