Obituary For Barbara A. Stone

Barbara A. Stone 49 of Kenton

A public visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. There will be a graveside service for Barb on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Wolf Creek Cemetery on Route 31 in Kenton.

Barbara Ann Stone passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She was born in Kenton on November 12, 1972 to Mary Lou (Patrick) Stone-White who survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are her step-father; Chuck White, her brother; James (Julie) Stone, her aunts; Bonnie Roberts and Alice Campbell, her daughter; Katrina (Mikal) Rostorfer, and her grandsons; Kindell and Jockton Rostorfer, along with several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her father and her beloved son; Kristofer (Kris) Davis. 

Barb (as she was known to family and friends) graduated from Kenton High School in 1991. She married and later divorced Stephen (Steve) Davis, with whom she had two children. Barb spent many years working in manager positions at various restaurants before getting her degree to become a licensed practical nurse. She enjoyed helping and taking care of others. Most recently she worked as a manager at Wendy’s where she considered the teenagers and young adults like a second family. 

Barb is remembered as a devoted mother who cherished her children deeply. She was an animal lover who couldn’t resist taking in an animal in need. Barb also enjoyed baking and crocheting and sharing the things she made with her loved ones. She was a kind and dependable daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend that touched the lives of many.  

Memorial contributions may be made in Barb’s honor to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
