Obituary for Betty J. Wines

Betty J. Wines age 65 of Upper Sandusky died at her residence on Nov. 18, 2023. She was born April 5, 1958 in Upper Sandusky to the late Patricia (Griffin) Coffman and Clarence Coffman of Upper Sandusky. She married Kevin M. Wines on Aug. 10, 1979 and he survives in Upper Sandusky. Betty is also survived by her children Michele (Anthony Montoney) Wines, and Michael Wines, grandchildren Maya Olivia, Mio Patricia, Rocky, Mark, Myles, 2 great grandchild, brothers and sister Brian (Penee) Coffman, Lykens, Janet (Dennis) Stansbery, Harpster, and Steve (Jessica) Coffman, Tiffin.

Betty graduated from Mohawk High School with the class of 1976. She earned her BSN and served as director of nursing for Central Ohio Elderly Care, Columbus. She also worked at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Fox Run Manor. Mrs. Wines was a member of Transfiguration of The Lord Catholic Church and sang in the church choir for 15 years. She was a member of the CLC, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and had served as a 4-H Advisor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM Wed. Nov. 22, 2023 in Transfiguration of The Lord Catholic Church with Father Savio Manavalan OFM Conv. and Deacon Kevin Wintersteller officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6PM Tue. Nov. 21, 2023 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with a Catholic Prayer Service at 6PM followed by a CLC Memorial Service. Visit www.BringmanClark.com to send a condolence or to share a memory.
