Obituary for Betty Jean Burton

Betty Jean Burton age 76 of Forest died Fri. Feb. 25, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born July 22, 1945 to the late Henry & Audrey (Malone) Nelson.

She married Raymond Burton on Oct. 11, 1960 and he survives in Forest. Mrs. Burton is also survived by her children Kevin (Anita) Burton, Betty Jo (Mark) Obenour, Lil (Larry) Shepherd, Shelly (Ronnie) Nease, 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, 2 brothers Hank (Brenda) Nelson, Luke Nelson, and a sister-in-law Cindy Nelson.

Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by a son Benjamin Burton, 2 brothers Roger and John Nelson, and a sister Missy Nelson.

Mrs. Burton was a homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed kids and dogs, and traveling to Myrtle Beach.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM Tues. Mar. 1, 2022 at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Livingston officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of the service at the Clark Shields Funeral Home.
