Funeral services for Carol Ann Elsasser will be private. She will be buried at Grove Cemetery. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Carol died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Vancrest of Ada. She was born on October 21, 1929 in Lima to the late Louis George and Mildred (Sunderland) Hamilton. She married Donald Eugen Elsasser on December 31, 1948 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2005.
Surviving are a son; Jerry (Cathy) Elsasser of Kenton, a daughter; Laura (Shane) Rogers of Kenton, a son-in-law; Dan Keckler of Kenton, 2 grandsons; Jeb, Chad, 2 granddaughters; Brandy, Jessie, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Peg Keckler, a grandson; Jamey Elsasser, and 4 brothers; Louise E. Hamilton, George E. Hamilton, Frank E. Hamilton and Phillip Hamilton.
Carol was a Kenton High School graduate and worked for R.B.M. and North Electric for many years. After that she retired from Kenton City Schools as a cook.
She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Kenton.
Carol enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and playing cards, especially Rummy. Her true passion was her family, and she loved to spend as much time with them as she could.
