Obituary for Judy A. Harris

Judy A. Harris, 70 of Kenton passed away on Friday, April 26,2024 at Marion General Hospital.  She was born September 11, 1953, to Darold Barker and Alice Layton. Judy graduated in 1971 from Kenton High School. She married Gene Harris and they later divorced.  She is survived by siblings, Terry (Pam) Barker, Kevin Barker, Melanie (Mike) Young; three children Tim (Michelle) Harris, Chad Harris, Amanda (David) Conkel, grandchildren Elizabeth, Toby, Harley, Draven, Mason, Christopher, Merinda and Amya. She worked at several places in town from Ames, Kroger’s, CVS, and the Kenton High School as cafeteria staff. She was a bright light with a caring soul who loved to interact with everyone she met. She enjoyed being outdoors, dancing, singing, craft shows, shopping and most of all, family meant everything to her. Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, from 2-7pm Friday at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
