Obituary for Charles E. Wright

Charles E. Wright age 90 of Forest, died at Bridge Hospice Care Center on Nov. 15, 2022. He was born Aug. 7, 1932 in Hancock County to the late Glen and Ethel (Drew) Wright. He married Carol L. McDaniel on Nov. 1, 1951, she preceded him in death on Feb. 19, 2014.

Surviving are his children Steve (Debbie) Wright, Wayne, Randy Wright, CA, Cheryl Langdon, Kenton, Tim Wright, Springfield, grandchildren Heather (Ryan) Roether, Tara (Shawn) Doogs, Zane Langdon, Adam Wright, Brandon Wright, Laura Wright, Great Grandchildren Olivia Doogs, Jaxon Doogs, Everett Roether, Wrenn Roether and Hannah Doogs. He is preceded in death by a son Roger Wright who died in infancy, a son-in-law Rob Langdon and 6 brothers.

Mr. Wright graduated from Forest High School in 1951.  He had worked at Rockwell in Kenton for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time at various restaurants with men’s morning coffee groups, he was an avid golfer, and OSU Buckeye fan.  Mr. Wright enjoyed playing Santa Claus for over 50 years.

Funeral Services will be held Sat.  Nov. 19, 2022 at 10:30AM in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Roth officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00PM-7:00PM on Fri. Nov. 18, 2022 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Heritage Christian Union Church in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S.
