Funeral services for Charles Leroy Mouser will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Greg Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Wolfcreek Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the funeral home.

Charles died on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Vancrest of Ada. He was born on October 3, 1934 in Mt. Victory, Ohio to the late Charles Levi and Anna (Singer) Mouser. On June 7, 1959 he married Carol A. Metzler and she preceded him in death on September 27, 2018.

Surviving are 5 daughters; Julia (Gilbert) McFarlin of Kenton, Tina Mabrey of Ada, Elizabeth (Eugene) Tackett of Alger, Dorothy Mullins of Kenton, Robyn (Rodney) Doornbos of Kenton, a son; William Mouser of Kenton, a sister; Rachel Guisinger of Marysville, 16 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son; Chalres Leroy Mouser II, 2 son-in-laws; Charles Mullins, Patrick Mabrey, 3 granddaughters; Courtney Keiser, Ashley Keiser, Shannon Last, an infant great-grandson; Preston Mouser, a brother; James Mouser and a sister; Fern Heilman.

Charles worked various jobs in the area, but mostly worked for Brodericks in Kenton.

He was a member of the Kenton Church of the Nazarene.

In his free time, Charles enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Charles’ honor may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
